Mbug DJ Demo July 2001

This was recorded during Melbournes techno golden age with weekly techno club nights from Wednesday night trough to Saturday, at the time there was also heaps of warehouse partys around Fitzroy and Brunswick.  Weekly Techno club nights included Club Filter (Wednesday), Teryaki Anarki Saki and Tectronic (Thursday), Centrifugal (Friday) and Virus (Saturday). I don't think we realised how spoilt we were for choice lol. 

This demo was what got me booked for my residency at Club Filter and I ended up playing there bi-monthly for the next three years untill about six months before it closed. It's pretty tough but funky techno influenced by the swedish sound which was big at the time.
